Tenon-and-mortise construction a centuries-old method for joining two pieces of wood provides strength and durability.The poster bed features scored shaped and turned posts. The headboard is gracefully arched with shaped molding and ribbon/rosette carvings. The footboard has French legs and a carved rope motif. The bed is available in twin or full size and an optional trundle unit is available with the twin-size model functioning as additional storage space or as an extra bed.
